In collaboration with Geir Age Loset and team, latest paper from laboratory on #celiacdisease Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute Monash University Science Immunology immunology.sciencemag.org/content/6/62/e…
We have generated TCR-like antibodies that bind gluten pMHC. The lead antibody prevents activation of gluten-specific T cells, suggesting a potential therapeutic strategy of celiac disease. Now out in Science Immunology! Great collab Geir Åge Løset @JCoDiRC Rossjohn lab Jeffrey J. Gray!
We just released CompAIRR – a tool that reduces greatly the longstanding computational bottleneck of identifying shared identical and similar sequences among large sets of immune repertoires. All the details/links are in the thread below. Feedback is very welcome! airr_community
I have an available 3-year #postdoc position in my lab in Oslo. Project on B cell-T cell interactions and the interplay between foreign and self-antigens in #autoimmunity. Read more and apply here 2411.webcruiter.no/Main2/Recruit/… @JCoDiRC @helsesorost UiO - Det medisinske fakultet
Happy to share our work on multi-dimensional comparison of immune repertoires. Amazing work by Cédric R Weber. Great collaboration with Xiao Liu, LSSI Reddy, Mariike Kuijjer, and, as always, Geir Kjetil Sandve. Main findings in 🧵. biorxiv.org/content/10.110….
Happy to share this story on anti-gluten antibodies in celiac disease. biorxiv.org/content/10.110… The project was led by Chunyan Zhou @JCoDiRC UiO - Det medisinske fakultet and is the result of a long-standing collaboration with the Buus lab University of Copenhagen. Main findings are summarized below.
We used scRNA-seq to assess the combined transcriptome and Ig repertoires of CSF B cells in MS. This revealed a stereotyped B-cell response using IGHV4/IGKV1 in patients carrying certain IGHC alleles! European Journal of Immunology #MS onlinelibrary.wiley.com/share/author/G…
IgG3’s hinge packs a punch! 🥊 We are excited to share our latest work published in Science Immunology, based on a very fruitful collaboration with the lab of Leo James at @MRC_LMB. @RCN_Norway @helsesorost UiO - Det medisinske fakultet Oslounivsykehus @UiO_LifeSci science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…
New article alert! Geir Åge Løset (Department of Biosciences, University of Oslo), in collaboration with Jeffrey J. Gray, show how structural models and phage display enable the generation of TCR-like antibodies with picomolar affinities. academic.oup.com/peds/advance-a…

Our perspective on antibody formation to gut bacteria is now out Nature Reviews Gastroenterology & Hepatology. Shared effort with Ludvig Sollid @JCoDiRC. In our view, T cells are crucial regulators of anti-bacterial antibodies. Check it out here rdcu.be/cUQKa

Very happy to share that our paper on anti-gluten antibodies in celiac disease is out now in Cell Reports. The study was led by Chunyan Zhou @JCoDiRC UiO - Det medisinske fakultet and was a great collaboration with the Buus lab UCPH Healthscience. Details in 🧵 cell.com/cell-reports/f…
Very happy to share this story on autoreactive B cells in celiac disease together with Ida Lindeman Lene Støkken Høydahl Asbjørn Christophersen Louise Fremgaard Risnes @JCoDiRC. Here, we identify a population of circulating IgA-switched B cells specific to the self-antigen transglutaminase 2 (TG2).
I am so happy to share that our study has been published today in nature ! 🎉This has been an absolutely fantastic teamwork between Dr Emily Thornton, Yisu Gu The Powrie Lab and Teichlab [Link: rdcu.be/dDzwx]
Our paper on circulating autoreactive B cells in celiac disease is now out in Cell Reports 🎉. Big thanks to everyone involved! cell.com/cell-reports/f…
