I urge everyone to sign this petition calling for Diane Abbott to have the whip restored.

Her treatment at the hands of Starmer has been an appalling specatacle that should shame him.

Across the world, in more than 30 countries, at least 150 strikes and protests are happening today to Make Amazon Pay — making it the biggest ever global strike at Amazon.

This is real internationalism of the people.

What's happening in Gaza is a crime against humanity. We should not be bullied into silence. The atrocity committed by Hamas is no justification for punishing Palestinian civilians who've suffered too long. Our political leaders should hang their heads in shame. STOP THIS TRAGEDY

I visited Julian Assange in prison this week with Jeremy Corbyn. It reaffirmed my anger at the injustice: 5 years in Belmarsh when his only crime was to tell the truth. It's outragous that our govt panders to the US extradition demand. All good people must fight for his release.

Poetry should be for the many, not the few.

Take a minute out of your day to hear some Shelley, read by Jeremy Corbyn and me.

You can pre-order a copy of the anthology we have assembled, Poetry for the Many, here: bit.ly/43QxqVU

Well it seems some people are upset that Jeremy Corbyn and I are releasing an anthology of poetry.

Maybe the people criticising Jeremy's poem The Masque of Anarchy as 'utterly dreadful' would do well to expand their knowledge by pre-ordering here!

Maxine's portrayal of Anne Williams is one of the finest acting performaces I can remember. Having been at Hillsborough in 1989 and supported the campaign for justice, I found it so moving. Maxine Peake deserves a BAFTA and anyone who hasn't seen 'Anne' should watch it on ITVX

If the police had accepted responsibility and apologised for Hillsborough 34 years ago the families might have had closure and justice there and then. I wrote about it in my book.

They've apologised today but the years of lies have caused too much suffering.
