This week’s figure shows JWST observations of carbon dioxide (CO2) on Callisto. The authors show spectral evidence of CO2 on the moon’s trailing hemisphere (hemisphere opposite the moon’s orbit direction) and determine CO2 exists globally in Callisto’s tenuous atmosphere. (1/2)
