Abolishing leasehold would put Charles and William’s profits at risk. Have they been lobbying politicians to drop this issue? Reformed leasehold law they can get an exemption from, but it’s more difficult if the whole system is abolished.

Noticed how often leasehold is in the news? A system invented by the rich and privileged a 1000 years ago, and astonishingly still going because the rich can buy off politicians and milk trapped leaseholders.
