Trump is visibly scared of the consequences of his own actions on abortion. And he should be. He owns the Dobbs decision and he owns every state ban that's flowed from it.

This is incredibly bad, dangerous, and counterproductive. Responsible leaders should be doing everything they can to deescalate right now. This is throwing fuel on the fire, making everyone on college campuses less safe, and doing Republicans' work for them.

I remain fascinated by the way in which people keep invoking the hostages to justify the continuation of Israel’s assault on Gaza. The families of the hostages want their family members back, and many of them have explained clearly that no bombing or invasion will achieve that.

People aren't picking up on how white supremacists are deliberately exploiting the war in Gaza to push both antisemitism and Islamophobia. Divide and conquer. They don't care about our communities at all. Yet folks keep falling for it.
