A quick update: Academics who went looking for genetic traces of H5N1 in store-bought milk from 10 US states found it in nearly 40% of samples. FDA's own investigation, which aims to be a 'large representative national sample,' has found evidence of H5N1 in 20% of milk products.

My in-person kid is home today with painful GI issues. It has been a week or two since he was last home sick. He spent Spring Break in bed with Fluvid. Since he got Covid in September, he gets 104+ degree fevers, faucet nose, & headache for 2-3 days at least once every 2-3 weeks.ā€¦
