There is a looming crisis in pediatrics. Fixing the gap in pay between pediatric and adult providers is an important step.

We also need a larger culture change in how we value children & the people who support them in and out of health care settings.

As much as policy makers etc. need to read this, in the immediate term this crisis could be substantially improved if GSK US and Prasco Laboratories found a way to lower the wholesale price of this *one drug* to insurers (especially Medicaid!) and out of pocket costs for pts w #asthma .
