Starting with little or no prior experience, our Digital Skills Accelerator (DSA) program beneficiaries continue to embrace every lesson and challenge with enthusiasm, quickly mastering basic computer usage, and exploring the vast opportunities of the digital world.

At this point, a pragmatic response is needed as we;
1. Declare a time-bound state of emergency
2. Leverage community-based structures
3. Upscale existing alternative accelerated learning mechanisms
4. Diversify to skill-based empowerment
5. Incentivise parental engagement

The world has no doubt gone digital! Girls and women must be included in digital skills learning opportunities to access necessary information and exposure, boosting their confidence in pursuing their desired careers.

studying Int’l Devt, terms like “Developing countries”, “Global South” were keenly debated in a way I found quite distracting, cos of my stronger interest in policy.

However, I really love The China-Global South Project latest episode “What is the Global South?”; takes a very topical approach!
