With the #SuperCore #inflation rate above expectations, #Fed #rate #cuts are off the table for now.

It is worth noting that #CPI declined yesterday if you strip out the #seasonal #adjustments . Later this year, #inflation should be lower.

This is the problem with #gold . The #story is very compelling, the long-term returns....not so much.
Gold does make for some great short-term trades though.
