Firefighters have been working hard to protect communities from wildfire MWF017. Structure protection has been completed in the Abasand, Prairie Creek and Beacon Hill neighbourhoods, as well as on the Rickards Landing Industrial Park, Gregoire Lake Estates and Gregoire Lake 176.

MWF-017- Update from Alberta Wildfire

· The fire size remains unchanged at 19,820 hectares.
· The fire remains approximately 4.5km from Hwy 63/Hwy 881 intersection and approximately 5.5km from the Fort McMurray landfill site.
· Ground operations continued building

The fact that the Premier is hiring a consultant to advise him on this is an insight into how little the government thought through their disastrous drug policies.
