Two days until our awesome free, online Q&A session on GameSpeed with Scott Talpey PhD and Nicolai Morris. Register now!
We at La Trobe SPAN Research Group have collected a rich biomechanical data set on the Victorian Institute of Sport Archery athletes.
The data will assist in determining differences when shooting the target when: 1) placed 5 m or 70 m away from the athlete, and 2) pre and post a training session.

Did you miss the #LTUnconstrained symposium?
Well, you're in luck! We've just opened access ($25) to the symposium presentation recordings here: pay.latrobe.edu.au/EvProvost/book…
Recordings will be available until March 31st 2024.
Insightful reflections by Craig Morris on his journey in ED as a coach - “Be prepared but not planned”. So many take home points ✍️ #LTUnconstrained
Was an honour to be able to chair the final session at the La Trobe SPAN Research Group #LTUnconstrained Symposium yesterday, hearing from Alex Roberts and Courtney Porter 🤩
Great to hear from these powerhouse women in skill acquisition and talent ID. Alex Roberts

#LTUnconstrained Carl Woods on Enskilment. Touching on attentive responsiveness.
Three threads - the taskscape, guided attention and wayfinding - all Interacting toward enskilment.

Craig Morris A story of becoming in coaching….. Inspiring, contemporary and honest. Actions before words.
“Coaches get it but it’s not transferring into practice design” - great preso from Derek Panchuk with a call out for research to better bridge the gap and provide more practical examples of constraint manipulations #LTUnconstrained
The importance of moving towards a more learner centred ecological dynamics approach for physical education teachers is immense - we need a lifelong adoption of physical activity not isolated moments that drift away as we age - 👏Jonathon Leo Ng #LTUnconstrained
#LTUnconstrained Victoria Brackley Following multiple threads including biomechanics/technique and performance improvement. Considering analysis both qualitative and quantitative methods
#LTUnconstrained Jon Wheat talking about movement variability and injury risk. More research to be done. The idea of a dynamic between these two things has been around for a long time.
#LTUnconstrained Ecological Dynamics as a theoretical foundation opens up into the relational dynamics of the person in their environment. Highly relevant considerations for athletes performing & people in pain seeking a more functional relationship with their life / environment
