LVMPD Undersheriff Andy Walsh even provided a special performance!
The idea was developed by Robert Strawder and began with the pilot program in 2019 at Desert Rose High School.

The program catches the attention of youth through music and teaches them how to develop their skills-- even write business plans and copyright their music!
It also allows our officers to meet with the students and build relationships with the LVMPD Office of Community Engagement

This morning, we were honored to participate in a special graduation ceremony at Grant Sawyer Middle School.
The Hip Hop Entrepreneurship Program celebrated its graduates with this big event.

This morning, PinkboxDoughnuts stopped by our headquarters with TONS of treats for our staff as a special thanks for their efforts in keeping the community safe! 💙 💙 🍩 🍩

This was a great partnership with WBF Management and the LVMPD Foundation that helped coordinate the 12 simultaneous Coffee with a Cop events!

They even worked the drive-thru window and made some delicious meal items. We had a great time talking with residents and addressing any concerns they have about the community.
