Last night I took part in Swimathon 2024 for Cancer Research and Marie Curie. My fundraiser has made £250 for two very worthy causes - thank you to everyone who donated! Thank you London Fields Lido and Swimathon for such a great event.

Tweeps, I’ve had a tough year so far:
• A promotion but new job is *hard* & takes a lot of energy
• a slow to fix injury (better now) & multiple flu/colds
• family stress
All above mean I’ve hardly swum. However lovely time at London Fields Lido today made me feel human again 🥰

Another year another 5k Swimathon! Faster than last year though that last kilometre doesn't seem to get any easier! Thanks to London Fields Lido and most of all to the lap counters for braving the rain and standing there for the best part of 2 hours!
