Any one know what kind of moth this is? I found it between the brace comb on the bottom of one of my nuc frames, it's dead and mummified. Recon that it's the strangest thing that I've found in a hive. I've never seen a moth that size in this country except in a butterfly house

Whilst swarming is starting to calm down colonies can still have aspirations. This ambitious one, following an artificial swarm, had raised over 60 queen cells. Hopefully reduced to just one!

Bees wax looking a lovely colour from this batch. Seems a shame to be simply trading it in at Thorne Beehives for foundation. Would make top quality candles. If only there was 2 of me. No time 😬
