Someone saying it perfectly here. We are over subscribing in restaurants. That’s what I am trying to say. Some other crature will take it on, “sure how hard can it be” and lose the shirt off their backs then. Open other shops. Stop thinking food is the only way to go. p

I think that is so so awful.

I had the longest post typed out about food places, basically saying now not the time to open one. But it’ll seem like I’m anti business & afraid of competition. When did we all get so afraid to speak up?(Someone tried to lease a space to hubby to open a rest) We don’t need more!

Was being so good last night and didn’t drink wine. But forgot to stop drinking the beers. Now I’m tired and have to go to work (was meant to be off!) Whose idea was it to open a restaurant again, oh ya. Twas me. 😂😂

Halibut was one of the specials on last night in the restaurant. Sold out for today. Was so beautiful. Apparently it’s a pleasure to cook, our chefs love cooking it. Will I ever get sick of seafood one asks, no, is being the answer to your question. (name that film😂).

I normally skip things I can’t handle on here. How does this end? It’s so sad. I’d go home too if I were him. Hope they catch the people that did this.

Isn’t this a great idea? for cooking at home. I bought this in a lovely little Italian artisan deli in Galway years ago. Cooks the right amount for 4 people. So no bleedin’ waste (I hate waste..)

Yesterday, on my absolutely crap weather app it said O% chance of precipitation for today. So I thought, I’ll get stuck into the garden today then. Got up this morning & it’s raining… I’d happily pay for an app that works. Especially with outdoor business. It’s so frustrating.

Now these are the perks of the job that I have to say make it worthwhile being in the industry of hospitality. We were judging at our local Culinary college, for the students final cocktail competition. The effort, originality and ideas made were incredible. Killybegs ATU.

Glad this is getting coverage. Look, I see what we pay every month in taxes. It’s so much. Too much for some businesses who are forced to close resulting in loss of jobs. Our industry is far too labour intensive to be taxed to highly, ultimately. 🙏🙏
