CS Davis Chirchir, EGH opened the 9th Annual International Energy Agency Global Conference on #EnergyEfficiency , bringing together Global leaders to collaborate and support the shared objective of doubling efficiency progress by 2030, as adopted at COP28.
Todayβs deliberations have highlighted the role of #energyefficiency in improving the quality of life, comfort, and mobility, as well as the need to deliver affordable and clean cooking solutions for all. Over 600 delegates from over 50 countries are attending the conference.

Kenya Power [The Kenya Power & Lighting Company Plc.] has called for total ban on waste copper Exports and stringent action against rogue scrap metal traders in the fight against vandalism.
According to the utility, between 2022-2024, 519 transformers worth KES 474M have been vandalised for scrap metal.
