Himmel the Hero use to love anime. He would often spend weeks redirecting an entire town's budget towards a single statue. It looks like this one is well maintained. I'm glad people still respect the robot.

Anime fans look at Eureka Seven like a teenager looks at a Blackberry Phone. Anything older may as well be lost media to them. They don't know how to torrent, they don't own a DVD player, if it's not streaming it functionally doesn't exist. We really need to recommend stuff more.

There's something about Toei's work in the 80s that has a very distinct feel to it. I see this & immediately think of stuff like The Real Ghostbusters. I love how smooth this is.

I wonder how much of Shin Megami Tensei is just a big Akuma Kun tribute. It's not like Mizuki invented the Occult, but I feel his works are connected to modern SMT in a way few people discuss. (That & GeGeGe no Kitaro) I look at this & it just FEELS like an RPG to me.
