The Ministry, its two State Departments, and nine agencies aim to plant 884,169 trees this month to meet CS Davis Chirchir, EGH's Cabinet objective of planting 5 million trees annually. Monthly tree planting activities take place every 2nd Friday of the month.

Today, PS Energy PS Energy - Alex Wachira hosted Ministry of Environment, Climate Change & Forestry CS Hon. Soipan Tuya, E.G.H in Narasha, Londiani, & Koibatek forests where our teams have been actively planting seedlings. We were able to plant 239,000 seedlings in all 3 forest blocks in conjunction with the community & Kenya Forest Service.

The Ministry of Energy and Petroleum | Kenya has fully distilled its 2024 long rains tree growing targets, assigning each of its 2 departments, 9 agencies and development partners monthly targets for its sites in Baringo and Kericho Counties.
