Results on students in a new study of smartphone bans at 477 middle schools:
- Fewer psychiatric consultations
- Lower rates of bullying
- Higher GPAs and test scores
- Results were strongest for girls and schools with the strictest bans

Phones don't belong in classrooms

I will say that I appreciate my whole teacher cohorts at Allendale Middle Sch, GVSU Biology, Teacher2Teacher, FitLeaders, and TeacherFit. They’re all super supportive.

No one in Congress took a stronger stand against FISA and its abuses than I did. In fact, I’m the only member of Congress in history to draw a veto threat against his proposed amendment to rein in FISA from two presidents of different parties: Barack Obama and Donald Trump.
