The day The King announced his cancer diagnosis 50,000 people accessed Macmillan Cancer Support info online. That is a 42% increase on the same day last year. It’s too early to see the increase in people going on to get symptoms checked, but we will. His openness has saved lives. 💚
One of the “pinch me as I can’t believe this is happening” fundraising activities currently underway for Teenage Cancer Trust - phenomenal. So grateful ❤️🥰
A strong step forward today as Department of Health and Social Care launch a Children & Young People Cancer Taskforce. All of us Teenage Cancer Trust look forward to working with Caroline Dinenage to ensure the specialist needs of teenagers & young adults are equally heard alongside those of younger children.
