Estefania is 17 and from East Timor. Like many refugees from that country, she came to the UK alone. This is her poem for her father.

4 years ago we were in lockdown. It casts such a long shadow. This was Annie's response at 17. She is at university now and last week was long listed for the National Poetry competition.

I'm going into EMBS this morning to launch the book I've made with the sixth form- 16-18 year old new arrivals in Oxford, many of them, like Gabriella, unaccompanied. Gabriella came from East Timor.

I hope Bernadine knows that Chantale is longlisted for the National Poetry competition today.
