People sometimes ask me how Texas prisons compare to LA jails...

When I investigated fires burning unchecked inside Texas prisons, TDCJ responded by getting more fire alarms.

When I did the same in LA, they responded by taking away batteries.

So now the NYPD is threatening student journalists and the Dean of Columbia Journalism school?! In case there is any confusion, student journalists have the same protections under the First Amendment as professional journalists. This is completely unacceptable!

As all eyes are on the massive NYPD crackdown at Columbia tonight, the situation at UCLA is escalating. Protestors say they will not leave despite the administration’s demands and threats.

They are calling more students to join noting “No universities left in Gaza.”
