I got up at 4am to try and finish something I was too tired for yesterday and I then spent two hours getting each of the kids back to sleep. So now I don't have the work done and will be even more tired today and yet I will learn nothing from this.

Students should feel safe on campus. Which is why I worried about the student wearing a Keffiyeh who was screamed at as a nazi at the start of semester. Looking forward hearing your work on addressing Islamaphobia!

One of the privileges of being a teacher is that years on your students still remember you (and get in contact!). We must do our best to teach in a way that the memory is a fond one.
