I attended a fascinating session at #ATS2024 earlier today, that shared what is known about ORDS - Orangutan Respiratory Distress Syndrome, which is a suppurative lung disease occurring orangutans and not other primates. There may even be associated CFTR mutations. GWAS awaited!
