To start my year off the first event I attended was #GenesisX and it couldn't have been a more fun time. Despite the convention centers lighting the Civic Center totally made up for that and I want to say GX was probably one of my favorite events that I've attended.

I remember hearing about this moment but didn’t appreciate the context. In reality it’s such a minor part of the trial. It’s ez to see just this and think “wow the justice system was silly howd they ever let this guy walk” but this case became more about Black communities vs LAPD

I’m a little too young to remember the OJ Simpson trial first hand so I fired up the Made in America doc and wow I see why they titled it that.
