It is important to know what to do if you are being pulled out to sea by a strong rip current.

Rip currents can quickly pull you into deeper water and it can feel like you're being pulled out to sea.

Our RNLI crews launch to save the lives of everyone in trouble in the water. They've done that for 198 years and - with the continued support of the public and our phenomenal shore-based volunteers - will keep doing that. I'm proud to know people who do this.
