2 most important points in ICC prosecutor’s request for warrants against Netanyahu and Gallant are his emphasis on causing starvation and the fact that there’s no warrant against IDF generals. For now it is primarily about the political level and its blocking of supplies to Gaza>

Gallant who spoke of a “total siege” and of course other ministers totally brought this upon themselves. The siege and the lack of any humanitarian plan alongside the battle plans gave the ICC a much easier decision than if it had only concentrated on Israeli military moves.

Interesting that the ICC prosecutor starts his statement with the warrants against Hamas leaders and that in their case both military and political levels are being accused. There was concern in Israel that IDF Chief of Staff Halevi would also be targeted but no mention of him.
