Trapped in every sense of the word -- physically within her cage, but also trapped in a system where she is only looked at as a means for profit. 💔

The world can feel like a gloomy, sad wasteland at times.

Others times, though, it can feel magnificent. Like it did for me when I hiked the fjords of Norway a while back. 11/10 would recommend. 🇳🇴

For a few moments a while back, I spent time in a #GestationCrate to experience what mother #pigs experiences for MONTHS on end. Can you imagine living basically your entire life in a CAGE? 💔

This mother cow is desperately trying to get her stolen newborn baby back.

But she won't.

The calf will be sold as #veal , and she'll never see him again.

Chickens use their beaks for eating, grooming, & exploring. Beak trimming is cruel, unnecessary, and banned in several countries.
