I have had this image for many years, yet I still cannot find information about it. It depicts the Old and New London Bridges in 1827 and is by George B. Moore (1806–1875).
1903 is a date also attached to later edition prints of it.

What year is this? Still wooden platform, but later than one might think.

Just into the Gallery this beautiful little Jack Simcock painting. There is a real stillness to the delicately painted trees in this picture - Mow Cop on calm winters day.

The days when broad Suffolk required subtitles. I have - just once or twice - heard Suffolk accents even thicker than these, which I couldn’t actually understand at all
