The procession for Officer Poloche is expected to begin at 3 p.m. Friday. It will travel from the medical examiner’s office to the McEwen Funeral Service.

Eyer’s wife, Ashley, powerfully stood and spoke about her husband. She said his biggest legacy is his son, Andrew.

She then tearfully said, “Help me teach Andrew who his daddy was and what he meant to you.” WSOCTV

Officer Nicholas Ferreira, who worked with Josh at North Tryon Division:

“Josh was everything I want to be.”

“I love you Josh. Until we meet again, may you rest in peace.”

Chief Jennings to Eyer’s wife, Ashley:
