Pentecost picnic was a big success - our T in the park. Stuart & I cut a Pentecost birthday cake ! Big crowd including Maryhill park tennis school 👍 huge thanks to volunteers who set up & fed the folks under the gazebo, - this may well be a new annual event 🙈🤣🤣

Our first First Holy Communions this year - 26 boys & girls coming to the altar for the first time. Wonderful celebration in the sunshine. Please feel free to share & add your pics ?

Busy weekend - Archbishop Nolan, visiting the parish. He met new parishioners - some stalwarts - Judith “aff the telly” - T bar ladies & newest parishioner - baby Lily! Ended with the evening youth liturgy - to all our great folks - thanks for welcoming the Archbishop

Ascension Thursday! Mass at 10am - followed by our open doors day. Free brunch and lunch for all - building community - making friendships- lovely sunny spring day. Would be great to see you! Bring your pals!

And the other SMSYG event was a supper - cabaret- family games night! And another £1500 in the pot 👍

We had two events this weekend to support St Margaret of Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 youth group for their Lourdes pilgrimage. First - shout out to the team who did brunch in the hall after mass and raised £1100! Brilliant

Congratulations to Kathy and Daniel - our last “Covid” wedding! After a delay of 2 years - they’re finally Mrs & Mr and we are all delighted for them. Blessings for the future
