I love this thread so much. The only thing I will add is it is a gender role to them, simply, they construct manhood as equal to dominance and superiority over women. This is pervasive in the construct of man as a gender role.

The injustice continues.

Black children deserve to live without the ceaseless threat of state violence. It’s impossible to contend with the grief of knowing how unprotected and unsafe Black children are in America.

Teen girls who take pictures of themselves can be charged for child porn but boys creating it without consent & to terrorize girls get a finger wag? At least one girl has already taken her life. At what point do we label sexual terrorism what it is & hold perps responsible?

The idea that someone regularly has to be airlifted out of the state for emergency abortion care is absolutely ludicrous. Imagine the pain, fear, and expense this puts on people for such a common, safe, relatively quick, most often outpatient procedure.

When people ask me, “Why don’t you just leave?”

Where would I go, friends?

None of us are safe when individual states can deny healthcare and rights. They will roll over states like mine first, and then come for yours.

Another one. Every time they compare a woman they don't like to a serial rapist, they declare they don't believe rape is bad.

Too many men think a woman's laughter or pity smile is approval when in reality it's, 'I'm uncomfortable,' 'you're unbearable,' 'end this engagement as quickly as possible,' or 'I want to survive.'
