The next big battle is over money: I foresee Tshabangu grabbing the CCC's allocation of state funding under the Political Parties (Finance) Act. Not only that, a lot of dirty linen will be washed in the open: on party resources & internal contradictions. But to what end?

It will come at huge cost to the taxpayer, of course. Zimbabwe cannot afford to be in perpetual election mode. Zanu PF is toying with people's lives. It's a dangerous game. What will happen when the masses finally abandon formal political participation & explore other options?
