So I've got an interesting question about openapi generators and typescript. My spec has neat types in the parameters, but my generated interfaces all have any. I must be missing a config option or something.

I do understand algorithm based questions in interviews. It's a good fundamental bases. But can we stop with binary search and graph search in interviews?

I know how to google binary search function and evaluate it faster than writing one from scratch.

I was working with a tool specific library for React. It's just a set of charting tools but there are no alternatives for the specific tool. Anywho, they have uuid's on components just in case you have multiple. The first id was 'F'. That's very universally unique.

Does anyone know how I can access the window object in a 'use client' component without doing a useEffect hack?

The hack is the component is prerendered on the server thus window == undefined.

I want access to window and client browser apis.

I finally get into BluSky and I really feel like the MS Explorer icon flying to area 51 raid meme. I'm way late to a party that has already called it a night. I can't find anyone who is actually posting on food topics. That's the only reason I'm still around here.

Are we still using HackerRank to do code challenges for Jr dev roles? I'm looking at one, and I find it overly complicated, but then to do it in less than 1 hr is absurd.

Can we please hire and treat jr's as they are, and teach them, not expect them to already be masters.
