Heavy rain, gale force winds, dangerous travel conditions and potential power outages are in the forecast throughout the state through Friday.

The Palisades Interstate Park Commission formed in 1900 with the goal of preserving the Hudson River Palisades. Setting aside nearly 14 miles of shoreline and over 30,000 acres of inland preserve, this commission was influential to the early structure of NY State Parks. (1/4)
