Before I took my current job, I taught poetry classes for 15+ years. Every class I taught had required texts that I could only assign because of SPD. If the college bookstore couldn’t get it, I couldn’t teach the book. This is a huge blow for students of poetry everywhere.

This is actually horrifying. There is no concept of freedom of speech at Columbia until full divestment from apartheid. Donors have too much control over who is allowed to speak.
