this distinction shouldn't be made, when you get a lot of notifs and traction as a 'bigger artist' it's hard to see or respond to every interaction period, in fact even mutuals hardly see or interact with each other due to algorithm or being busy off platform

T1rt Oftentimes they just get a lot of notifications after a certain number of followers, and responding to them all can be overwhelming.

Don't take it as rejection when you don't get a response! And remember big artists aren't actually authority figures.
