Excited to share our paper by Raffaella De Pace Saikat Ghosh et al. showing that BORC-dependent transport of lysosomal vesicles into the axon is crucial for the axonal movement of a large cohort of mRNAs, mainly those encoding ribosomal and mitochondrial proteins nature.com/articles/s4159…
This was a lot of fun! Very impressed with all the cool science going on at InstitutNeuroMyoGène ! Thanks Julien Courchet for the invite!

Happy to share our study now online Nature Communications
Lots of data demonstrating a metabolic function for the #AMPK related kinase #NUAK1 in cortical neurons

To all #mitochondria lovers, come to Lyon & enjoy the seminar by Jaime de Juan-Sanz Institut du Cerveau - Paris Brain Institute
This Thursday at InstitutNeuroMyoGène
Université Lyon 1 Inserm Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes CNRS Rhône Auvergne
Our lab's third paper is out Nature Communications
in collaboration with Sathya Puthanveettil Wertheim UF Scripps and Ryohei りょうへー Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience.
Our postdocs Jenna Wingfield and Ilika Ghosh got together to trace the transport of the long non-coding RNA SLAMR into synapses during synaptic plasticity
Essential that important journals such as Science Advances are open to publish important work failing to reproduce previous data. Hope other high profile journals follow!
Is DIANA dead? The princess certainly is, rest her beautiful soul. In this paper (science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…), out today in Science Advances , we (@SeongGi_Kim and Peter Bandettini ) attempt to reproduce DIANA with a few improvements. We had no luck. 1/3
Interested in studying glutamate dynamics in your favourite model organism? We wrote a detailed #protocol book chapter on utilizing #iGluSnFR glutamate sensor in worm, fly, fish, rodent and more!
