Working from home has been both good and bad.

The good is that I save time and money commuting.

The bad is that I find it hard to get my brain out of work mode when it's still the same four walls surrounding me. There's no walk to the train station and 30 minute ride home

I think I've slowly come to the realization that I prefer more undisturbed scenes in street photography (something shot on 50 or 55mm for example) than the up close and tight shots in the style of Bruce Gilden because I'd never want to have my photo taken that way.

The number of chains and marketplaces and the number of art sales seem to be moving in opposite directions.

I can't say I understand why it feels like we're in such a rush to spread out things, but plenty of things go over my head so maybe I'm wrong.

Patiently waiting for my allergies to stop bothering me this much so I can enjoy things more.

I picked the wrong time to order a lot of 2022 Chenin Blanc, although there's never a wrong time for that.

A couple of my favorites are the Kill Bill movies and Memento

Has nostalgia been manufactured and commoditized to a point where it's no longer nostalgia because:

A) Those were never your moments to begin with

B) It is so present that you can see it on a daily basis, which removes what the feeling is supposed to be?

From the very beginning my own opinion was that Web3 could be a very nice secondary/additional income for many but an extremely hard primary income for most.

In 2021 I probably looked like a fool saying it and in 2024 I probably look like I’m stating the obvious.

I barely get replies anymore and this platform still doesn't show the notifications to me haha - need to sit here and manually review anything I wrote in order to look for replies under it.

Still hanging around just not super interested in the current meta so I haven’t had a lot to say.

When I was younger, I always asked for challenging work in my office because I knew what I was capable of and knew what I had to offer.
