The act which ended World War II in Europe was signed in #Reims on 7 May 1945.

The room where the act was signed can be visited at the Musée de la Reddition.

The cathedral of #Reims was heavily bombed during WWI, and the smiling angel destroyed.

There are a few stunning #Chagall stained glass windows.

Splendid #Reims cathedral where the kings of France were crowned.

Joan of Arc escorted Charles VII to be crowned there, accomplishing her mission.
