If you aren’t lying, you are at least misrepresenting history. At the time it was 100% true. Psychoanalytic treatment was all hypothesis formulation and no hypothesis testing. CBT, IPT, and others taught therapy a lesson in how to study it. Lots work. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/cp…
