What Julia means is that on this particular occasion her attempt to use a horrible incident thousands of miles away about which she (and us) knew nothing in order to stir up racism, hatred and division backfired.

The only Muslim involved in the Sydney attacks yesterday was Faraz Tahir.

He was the Security guard who tried to stop the attack and who became the only Male victim.
