That Starmer line about the job being too big for Sunak feels really visceral and dangerous for the PM. I imagine we'll be hearing a lot of it.

Blair had a bit in his memoirs where he said that he had to find the defining reputational failure of each Tory leader and then zero in on it remorselessly. That might be what Starmer just unveiled: the encapsulating attack.

Good on Labour MPs Olivia Blake and Tulip Siddiq for raising the story of asylum-seeking children going missing from Home Office run hotels.

The most vulnerable children in the world, suddenly disappearing, some of them bundled into cars right outside the hotel, without the govt even able to state who has legal responsibility for the cases.
