Great session chaired by Richard Moorhead which demonstrated how far the debate around legal ethics within the profession has developed in the last few years.

It is difficult to overstate the importance of the work of the IBA in highlighting the issue of bullying and sexual harassment in the global legal profession. Brilliant work Kieran Pender and great leadership by Sara Carnegie. The IBA News at its best.

A lot to unpack and question in the latest SRA consultation on its fining powers. Key point for today is that the SRA now has the power to fine any solicitor or traditional law firm up to £25k even if it relates to something that happened many years ago.
