If you're planning a camping trip, the Invasive Species BC is asking that you 'buy local, burn local' when sourcing wood. The invasive Emerald Ash Borer was discovered in BC earlier this year, and can spread through the transport of infected wood. globalnews.ca/news/10595010/…

This invasive plant is a really doozy! 😫 The tree of heaven was added to our Noxious Weed Control bylaw earlier this year. It grows quickly and produces by both seed and division. ⛏️ Young seedlings can be pulled or dug up, but cutting alone won't be effective due to it's
