Aabhar Ceremony for sailors proceeding on release was conducted by #INSGomantak on 30 Apr 24 wherein mementos were presented to them in the presence of their families. They attended the Sunset ceremony to mark the completion of their service in uniform to the nation.

At Karwar Naval Station, the CNS inaugurated the 350 m long Pier 3 for berthing OPVs and large survey vessels, two towers of 80 flats for married officers, 149 flats for single officers and six towers of 360 flats for Defence Civilians.

#KarnatakaHeritageCarRally2 .0 organised from #Karwar visited 10 schools/NGOs including at Bijapur, #Hampi , Halebidu & Coorg. The rally with 10 cars & 15 officers covered more than 2000 kms, also interacted with #veterans at Coorg & laid wreaths at various Armed Forces’ memorials.
