We are expecting thunderstorm coverage to gradually increase overnight across portions of central, southern, and eastern Kansas. While not everyone will see severe weather, the strongest activity will be capable of large hail and damaging winds.

Storms capable of becoming severe have started to develop in western KS and are expected to move into the orange shaded area over the next few hours. Be sure to have multiple ways of receiving warnings. Consider keeping volume up on mobile devices overnight.
