Benefits pay too much to people capable of working. Make those who can get a job and maybe the elderly and disabled will be able to have a better standard of life too!

Historybuff I was born in 40's Dad worked 7 days a week 2 jobs. Mum worked 6 days a week. I worked from age 15 for 58 yrs retired for 3 years now back working. Never claimed a penny off the state. Now teaching 5 neighbours kids how to cook. No fathers around. Mums Don't work can't cook.

But we were loved, well fed and raised to respect others and to have ambitions. We always had annual Cornwall holiday and a decent Xmas present

Today, you have to make you're business everyone else's to receive a tin of beans.

Historybuff I split with my ex, worked 70 hours a week, got into ยฃ30,000 of debt ( giving kids everything,and 2g deposit on house) busted my tits every day,took good holidays ( kids time) ,got access through courts, they lived with , now? Free of debt and mortgage,worked hard for results!
