Do you ever casually start talking to Allah, after namaz instead of proper dua? Proper dua like our elders do, like you don't raise your hands for dua, you just start talking to HIM, like he is sitting right in front of you, I don't know how to explain this but same

I confuse people. I have a happy personality and a sad soul. I’m bold but shy. I love deeply, but sometimes feel heartless. I’m healing and hurting at the same time. I’m dedicated to growth, but I self sabotage. I’m trying to find peace within a lifetime of contradictions.

i realized how emotionally independent i am. i never liked showing my vulnerable side to anyone. i wipe my own tears, heal my own wounds and keep it on myself because it is no one else's responsibility to know what is going on with me.

the urge to check upon people I've stopped talking to, ask them how's life treating them and if they still have the same fears and do they still laugh on the same silly things and tell them i still think about them sometimes

The pakistani urge to say “ I'm good Allhamdulliah” when you are literally at your lowest, crying from inside and going thru existential crises💀

my loyalty runs so deep that i will fight for something until i feel like there's absolutely nothing left. no matter how bad it is, i will fight for the good times that could return. so once i stop arguing & checking on you. that's when you know you lost me for good

did i like this book? yes. do i remember anything about it? no. will i still recommend it to people by telling them how good it was? yes, definitely.
