Kieran Harris The ridge is a scheduled ancient monument known as The Dane's Dyke. It may have been a viking defence structure, although may only be medieval. Still very old.

Hitting my old trusty Wilson Golf Europe driver, went like a rocket and went as far as my normal driver, love it! Bless her she has seen better days, but is still a lot of fun to hit!

I dont mind saying the last week's have been hard, wading through treacle, but today we take ANOTHER BIG STEP FORWARD.

The steps will get bigger and bigger, but every one is more exciting than the last.

The renovarion work on the R&A building is complete. Like an iceberg it's mostly hidden underground, incredible piece of engineering and construction, would love to take a good look one day...
